Well I honestly did not think that my son could shock me. Out of nowhere he has said he is fed up with Scotland, isn't going to do year 2 of Uni and is moving to Portugal. He said he is moving in with a family that he has only met on the internet!!! To a country where he doesn't speak their language or understand it. No job and probably zero chance of getting one (since again he doesn't speak Portuguese). Plus he hates different food (always been really fussy) For all I know this family could be nutters and using him as a cash machine. .
Seemingly he has been planning it for 2 months.
What can I do? He is 19 in July so it isn't like I can ban him.
I am going to spend all my time worrying.

Everyone is so shocked as of all people they never expected it from him.
